 "I was born and brought up in Nigeria and my family was very, very póor. Life was tough, and we struggled just to survive. I knew I wanted more, so I had to leave my home in search of a better life.


I traveled to London, but things were not easy. To make ends meet, I worked as a security guard. It was a hard job, but I had no choice. I was in Barack (Barking, London), just trying to survive and keep my dreams alive.


Despite the struggles, I never gave up on my passion for music. I teamed up with D’banj, and we started Mo’ Hits Records, but back then, nobody knew us. We kept pushing, but success didn’t come immediately.


Then, we returned to Nigeria, and things started to change. However, another challenge I faced was learning how to navigate the music industry. It took me a long time to master everything, but I didn’t let that stop me. I kept working on my craft, and slowly, things began tofall into place.


Today, I run Mavin Records, one of the biggest record labels in Africa, and I’m proud of how far I’ve come.

Google late Friday countered a US call to sell its Chrome browser, suggesting a judge address antitrust concerns by barring the firm from making favourable treatment of its software a condition of licensing. Google filed a 12-page proposed order banning the internet giant from requiring favourable distribution or treatment of its software on mobile devices as a condition of licensing popular apps like Chrome, Play or Gemini. In contrast, the US government in November asked a judge to order the dismantling of Google by selling its widely used Chrome browser in a major antitrust crackdown on the company. The US Department of Justice urged a shake-up of Google’s business that includes banning deals for Google to be the default search engine on smartphones and preventing it from exploiting its Android mobile operating system.
