The Day I Almost Gave Up
Three years ago, I was sitting on the cold floor of my tiny apartment, staring at an eviction notice.
My fridge was empty. My phone was full of “We’re sorry” messages from job applications.
I had sent out over 100 CVs. No one called back.
I felt like a failure. Like maybe life had nothing left for me.
That night, I almost packed my bags to go back home and give up on the city. But something in me whispered: “Just one more day.”
The next morning, I got a call. Not for a job interview—but from a friend who needed help with a small project. It paid little, but it kept me afloat.
That small project led to another. And another. And slowly, my life started turning around.
Today, I have my own business, my own apartment, and I wake up every morning grateful that I didn’t quit that night.
I learned something powerful—
Sometimes, the biggest changes in your life come right after the moment you almost give up.
